Logjam Plans Record-Breaking Zipline from Mt. Sentinel ‘M’ to The Wilma Rooftop
Forget walking, biking, or carpooling—why not zipline to your next concert at The Wilma?
Soon, concertgoers will have the unique opportunity to zipline directly to a show at The Wilma. And where, you ask, will this exhilarating journey begin? You’ll be soaring in from one of Missoula’s most iconic landmarks—the “M” on Mt. Sentinel!
That’s right, Missoula! Logjam Presents is building a first-of-its-kind zipline that runs from the “M” all the way to the rooftop of The Wilma. Upon landing, you’ll take a special elevator directly down into a VIP section of the venue, bypassing the lines and making the most legendary concert entrance of all time.
This will be the world’s first zipline connecting a mountain to a music venue—not to mention a historic venue like The Wilma. Covering over 4,200 feet, with riders starting at over 600 feet in the air, it will be one of the longest ziplines in the world, attracting thrill-seekers and music lovers alike.
Logjam Presents is working with city planners, along with the nation’s leading zipline company, Zippity Doo Dah (a subsidiary of Fooligans Outdoor Recreation), to make this project a reality.
Logjam’s Director of Experiential Operations, Jeff Gotcha, says:
“The Wilma has a rich history as a focal point in Missoula, as does the “M” on Mt. Sentinel, so tying the two together, quite literally, will be truly unique. There may be no better way to elevate a concert experience than ziplining to the show.”
Zippity Doo Dah CEO, Rebecca Bullsheet, shares her excitement:
“We couldn’t be happier to work on this project. It’s going to be one of our most challenging projects to date, but ziplining in Zootown just makes sense. And it’s fun to say.”
To make the experience even more convenient, a helicopter pad will be installed at the top of The Wilma for zipliners who want a round-trip experience. VIP packages will include in-flight snacks and champagne service, so you can pre-game in style.
A limited number of ticket packages will be available, including the zipline ride and entry to the show. The first event with this package? The one and only Phish, set to perform at The Wilma on February 30, 2026. They’ll be playing a record breaking 8-hour set so that 100s of zipliners can make it to the show.
This is a massive undertaking, and construction will take some time.
Actually, construction will never start… because this is all an April Fools joke.
A zipline from the “M” to The Wilma? It sounds kind of cool, but that’s a bit of a lofty idea.
Anyways, we’ll stick to concerts. Check out the full lineup here!
