flipturn Announce Concert in Missoula
Indie rock band flipturn will bring their Burnout Days Tour to The Wilma on August 6, 2025, with support from California rockers Sun Room.
What began as a group of college friends playing house shows in Florida has grown into one of the most buzzed-about bands in indie rock. Their hard-earned rise has brought them from small-town gigs to major festival stages like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, as well as national features on Jimmy Kimmel Live, ABC News, and The Washington Post. Their 2022 debut album Shadowglow introduced fans to the band’s dreamy-yet-urgent sound — a mix of modern indie rock, new wave textures, and lush, emotional storytelling. Fan favorites like “August,” “Sad Disco,” and “Chicago” have helped cement flipturn’s status as one of the most compelling indie acts on the road today.
Earlier this year, flipturn released their sophomore album, Burnout Days — a record born from life on the road and the bonds forged along the way.
Supporting the show is Sun Room, a California surf band bringing breezy, retro-inspired rock with a modern twist.
Don’t miss your chance to catch two of indie music’s most exciting live acts in one unforgettable night!

ABOUT flipturn
For flipturn, success didn’t arrive overnight. The band, comprised of Dillon Basse (lead vocals, guitar), Tristan Duncan (lead guitar), Mitch Fountain (synth, guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), and Devon VonBalson (drums), grew steadily with every gig, from college house shows in their home state of Florida to festival appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, to national recognition from Jimmy Kimmel Live, ABC News, and The Washington Post – earning the Jacksonville-based band an international reputation as an indie rock powerhouse. By the time flipturn released their debut album, Shadowglow, they’d become genuine road warriors while still in their mid-20s, supporting the record with a nonstop string of tour dates. That dizzying experience inspired the band’s second release, Burnout Days. Caught halfway between 21st century indie rock, New Wave-inspired nostalgia, and rhythmic alt-pop, Burnout Days finds the beauty that exists between five friends, even in times of burnout.
