Desperate Electric, Kyle Hunter and Charlie Apple Announce Western Disco NYE Party at The Wilma

Say goodbye to 2025 in true Montana fashion! Desperate Electric, Kyle Hunter & The Mountain Standard, and Charlie Apple are joining forces for a Western Disco NYE Party — a one-of-a-kind celebration happening December 31, 2025, at The Wilma in Missoula.

This is Montana’s New Year’s Eve bash — a homegrown lineup of powerhouse performers ready to turn The Wilma into the ultimate dance floor to welcome 2026. Boots, sequins, and your coolest Western-meets-Disco attire are highly encouraged — good vibes required!

Kicking things off is Missoula’s own Charlie Apple, creator of the genre he calls “Outlaw House.” Fusing the grit of outlaw country with deep house grooves, Apple’s smoky baritone and pulsing beats shine on tracks like “Born to Ride.”

Next up, Kyle Hunter & The Mountain Standard bring a raw, high-energy mix of alt-country, Americana, and roadhouse rock. With driving rhythms and heartfelt songwriting heard on Losing My Mind and “In The Spring” they’ve quickly become a local favorite, playing some epic shows across the state (photos).

Closing out the night are Butte’s Desperate Electric, the dynamic duo blending futuristic R&B and retro dance grooves. No strangers to throwing a party (photos), their infectious tracks like “Wildfire,” and “Isn’t It Funny,” — paired with lush harmonies and electrifying stage presence — guarantee a soulful, high-energy countdown into 2026.
