Dance-punk icons LCD Soundsystem are headed to Bonner, Montana for two nights at KettleHouse Amphitheater on August 12 & 13, 2026 with support from Victoryland.

Formed in Brooklyn in the early 2000s by James Murphy, LCD Soundsystem helped redefine the intersection of indie rock and electronic music. LCD Soundsystem is an American electronic rock band. The group was formed in 2002, in Brooklyn, New York, and it is composed of James Murphy, Nancy Whang, Pat Mahoney, Rayna Russom, Tyler Pope, Al Doyle, Matt Thornley and Korey Richey. The band was first signed under DFA Records, a label co-founded by Murphy. They released several singles including “Losing My Edge”, “Give it Up” and the hit “Movement” which peaked at number 52 in the UK Charts. They released their debut self-titled album in 2005 and in the same year they released the hit single “Daft Punk Is Playing at My House” which reached number 29 on the UK Charts. The single was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. They have collaborated with artists such as Miike Snow and Joywave. They released two more albums, “Sound of Silver” and “This is Happening” before taking a break as a band. In 2017 they reunited and released a new album “American Dream”, which features synth-pop sounds blended with dance. The album was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the Grammy Awards and the single “Tonite” won Best Dance Recording at the same Awards.
