Reggae Rock Band The Movement Will Bring Their Ways of the World Tour to Missoula
Hip hop infused reggae rock band The Movement will bring their Ways of the World Tour to the Top Hat in Missoula on February 26, 2020 with support from Josh Heinrichs and For Peace Band.

Originally based out of Columbia, SC, The Movement was influenced by artists like Sublime, 311, Slightly Stoopid and John Brown’s Body. The band consists of founding member, lead vocalist, and guitarist Joshua Swain, bassist Jason Schmidt, drummer Gary Jackson, and keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Matt Goodwin. The band has been frequenting Montana more over the past few years, recently headlining the Montana State Hemp Festival in September, headlining the Top Hat early 2019, and also supporting Dirty Heads at KettleHouse Amphitheater in 2018.
They have been steadily growing their fanbase since their debut album On Your Feet in 2004. Their follow up album Set Sail in 2008, contained two of their top hits “Set Sail” and “Habit.” Fast forward to 2019 and they’ve released 4 more albums, including 2016’s Golden, which hit #1 on iTunes and Billboard Reggae charts and was voted 2016 Album Of The Year by Surf Roots Radio. In summer of 2019, they released Ways of the World which debuted at #1 in the Billboard Reggae Chart.
