Scott Hansen, known professionally as Tycho, is a multi-instrumentalist, record producer, composer, and design artist. Tycho’s music is often associated with IDM, downtempo, chillwave, and post-rock genres. Notable tracks include “Awake,” “Dictaphone’s Lament,” and “A Walk.”

While Tycho heavily incorporates electronic elements, his live shows feature dynamic instrumentation from himself and his bandmates: Zac Brown (guitar, bass), Rory O’Connor (drums), and multi-instrumentalist Billy Kim. Tycho’s albums Epoch (2016) and Weather (2019) were both nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Fans can look forward to his next album, Infinite Health, set to release on Aug. 30th.

This is only Tycho’s 2nd time touring through Montana. He played Bozeman for the first time in 2022 and has yet to perform in Missoula. Don’t miss out on these special shows with the FULL BAND — try your luck and enter to win below!
