From dubstep, to house, to drum & bass and beyond – it’s no surprise that Dirt Monkey is celebrated as a producer’s producer and a fan-favorite performer in the world of bass music.
Since dropping his debut full-length record in 2012 and making waves with his 2017 breakout album, Wubula, Dirt Monkey has become a driving force in the scene. Over the past decade, he’s delivered a steady stream of singles, collaborations, remixes, and albums, always pushing sonic boundaries. Hismusic has landed on some of the most respected labels in the game including Bassrush, Deadbeats, SubCarbon, Wakaan, and more. In 2019, he launched his own imprint, 19K, with a clear vision: tochampion the next generation of boundary-pushing electronic artists and spotlight both established names and rising talent alike.
Dirt Monkey took full advantage of 2021 with a packed festival season, a headline play at Denver’s renowned Mission Ballroom and the release of his sixth full-length album, Depolarize. He leaped directly from festival season into the Depolarize Tour, his 40+ stop headline bus tour across the United States, before joining Subtronics on the Fractal Tour throughout 2022.
Dirt Monkey kicked off 2023 with his second Mission Ballroom headline, returning with an even more thrilling set and mind-blowing production, performed to a packed house. Over the next six months, he and Jantsen embarked on their 50-stop co-headline Full Circle Tour across North America. Throughout the summer, he scored prime slots at massive festivals including Lost Lands, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and more. Dirt Monkey closed out 2023 with one of the biggest endeavors of his career thus far: the release of his ambitious double album, MYCELIUM SOUND. Consisting of the up-tempo and highly energetic PT. 1 and the deep and hypnotic PT. 2, the two halves of his double album together showcase the duality of his musical palate and the dynamism of his skills as a producer.
In 2024, Dirt Monkey set out on his headline MYCELIUM SOUND TOUR across the United States, headlined two nights at Colorado’s Mishawaka Amphitheatre and released several powerhouse singles including the widely acclaimed “LIGHTYEARS” and “Terror Dome.” Without skipping a beat, Dirt Monkey launched into 2025 by joining forces with Friction for their co-headline Chemical Reaction Tour across North America, as well as sweeping a crowd of thousands off their feet with an electrifying set at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Endlessly honing his craft as a producer and a performer with an extensive touring schedule and ever-growing repertoire of new music on the horizon, Dirt Monkey soars into 2025 at the top of his game.
