About Iration

Iration is an alternative/reggae group originally formed in Isla Vista, CA. Their deep-rooted island influence and Hawaii upbringing is fused with elements of rock, pop and soul to create smooth, uplifting original sounds. The group is made up of members Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Adam Taylor (Bass), Joseph Dickens (Drums), Cayson Peterson (Keyboard/Synth), Micah Brown (Guitar/Vocals), and Drake Peterson (Trumpet, Keys).

Now, after almost two decades creating music together, Iration has racked up more than 1 billion streams, topped Billboard charts and established themselves as one of the most beloved reggae-rock bands to emerge from the SoCal scene.

After riding the wave of their 2020 release Coastin’, their upcoming 8th studio album, Daytrippin is set to release October 6th, 2023. The album’s title track “Daytrippin” released on June 9th accompanied with their official music video featuring desert visuals and a slightly dazed storyline from Joshua Tree. Watch the video now on YouTube. Additional sneak peeks previously dropped this year include “IRL” and “New Style.”

“Daytrippin is a return to our roots. We set out to strike a balance between polished studio production and the energy of a live show. We leaned on our reggae and rock influences to find a natural evolution from earlier albums like Time Bomb and Hotting Up,” says Iration lead vocalist, Micah Pueschel.

Iration performs coast-to-coast in 2023 in support of all things Daytrippin, headlining their “IRL Fall Tour,” an 18-date trek across the US with special guests Artikal Sound System and Cydeways, in addition to joining Rebelution’s Good Vibes Summer Tour for 44 dates at amphitheaters and venues across the country June-August.

The band has been touring nationally since 2008, performing at festivals nationwide from Lollapalooza to Sunfest and Hangout, closing stages at festivals like Bottlerock and Outside Lands. “Every night we create a little bit of paradise for the people that are coming to the show,”  Micah Brown told editors at Billboard.

Iration’s first four albums reached No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. Early fan-favorite songs “Time Bomb” and “Falling” formed the foundation of Iration’s signature sound, and reached RIAA Certified Gold Status in 2020. In the years since, the group’s catalog hit the airwaves of alternative rock radio stations nationwide, including the world-famous KROQ in Los Angeles, and earned the ear of critics at American Songwriter, The Noise and All Music amongst many more.

Surfer Girl

About Surfer Girl

As no stranger to feel good music, Surfer Girl is the latest project from the former hip-hop/pop duo Aer frontman, Carter Reeves. After sharing the stage with the likes of Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome, Chance the Rapper and Mac Miller, Carter made the long overdue foray back into the modern beach rock feel-good scene. Surfer Girl is a genre bending, pop-leaning beach party, ready to keep you moving. Drawing from psychedelic dub influences such as King Tubby, to more mellow artists like Jack Johnson, Surfer Girl has a little sauce for everyone. It’s meant to share with your friends and family, while sipping mezcal or rolling a little bit of whatever you’ve got left at the bottom of the jar. If you’ve never seen him perform live, prepare yourself for stage shattering energy, and an all around good time. Just like the legends of reggae music, Surfer Girl isn’t afraid of tackling some divisive, personal and introspective issues in his lyrics, with his main focus being to bring us all back together.

Surfer Girl’s debut EP was released early 2021 via Ineffable Records, label arm of the company behind artists like Stick Figure, Collie Buddz, Trevor Hall, The Movement, and many more. SG’s 2022 debut album is set to drop this summer with an array of big name features within the scene. Keep an eye out because Surfer Girl aims to cover a lot of ground with a ton of new music on the way…
