About SkiiTour

Fusing two fresh-off-the-mountain electronic music addicts, Tim and Dave together create 12 feet and 350 pounds of turbo-funk-boosted, snowsuit-donning man flesh. Hailing from the world famous ski town of Whistler, this dynamic duo loves shredding fresh powder almost as much as they love smashing out hit-records in the studio.

Producing & performing together for over 8 years, they are like savage yetis feeding off of each other during their high energy live shows (which often feature snow machines & loud retro ski gear) while they blast through genres playing everything funky from bassline house to black-diamond future bass.

The boys have released tracks on labels around the world including Westwood Recordings, Good For You Records, and Fort Knox Recordings.  In the spring of 2016, they started up their own record label, Double Black Records.  While constantly developing their sound they have enjoyed chart success on Beatport & have cracked over 2.5 million plays on Soundcloud.  They have been featured by Vice’s Thump, DJ Mag Canada, and just had a track premiered by Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1 which has been signed to Fool’s Gold Records.  This summer saw them crack into the Spotify Viral Charts with their track “Keep You Up” which was also featured on several Spotify Canada playlists.

Their hectic touring schedule over the last several years has included over 100 headlining slots at electronic music festivals from coast to coast in Canada & USA, plus tours of Australia & Europe.  This summer they made their 7th consecutive appearance headlining at the acclaimed Shambhala Music Festival for 2 sets & were booked for 9 slots this summer at Burning Man’s best music camps.

After finding one another moving bodies with similar rhythm at the DJ decks of house parties and club shows, Charlie Apple and John August have recently joined forces to become a back to back DJ duo.

Charlie Apple is the swaggerous beat manipulator and producer of PARTYGOERS and PROMDATE88. His young life was spent moving around the country until he landed in the industrious Butte, Montana, where he began producing and playing electronic music more than a decade ago.

A long-time acoustic musician and audiophile, John August was a latecomer to the world of electronic music. While in graduate school in Boston to the north, John discovered the notorious dance scene in the warehouses of industrial Brooklyn and quickly took to learning to create and play his own music.
