About The Breach
Thought the Pebble Mine was dead? Itʼs not.
We welcome Seattle filmmaker, Mark Titus to Missoula for the nationally acclaimed film, The Breach. A moving portrait of the fate of Wild Salmon, the film delivers a powerful message from the land, waters, and the people of Bristol Bay, Alaska.
Following the screening, Titus will host a Q &A – and invite you to consider how to Save What You Love with an exclusive preview of his new film, The Wild due out in 2019. www.thewildfilm.com
When fishing guide/filmmaker Mark Titus learns why wild salmon populations plummeted in his native Pacific Northwest, he embarks on a journey to discover where the fish have gone and what might bring them back. Along the way, Titus unravels a trail of human hubris, historical amnesia and potential tragedy looming in Alaska – all conspiring to end the most sustainable wild food left on the planet.
Sponsored by Kvichak Fish Company of Bristol Bay, Alaska and Flathead Lake Montana.
