Launching onto the scene in 2010, The Ghost Peppers started their musical career playing the bar circuit and covering their favorite songs, just as many successful bands had done before.
Finding inspiration from the likes of Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Muse, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the band channels the feel, intensity, and groove of these monsters of rock, proving their devotion to music and appreciation for exceptional performance.
The four-piece is comprised of Collin Scott on drums, Josh Rhines on guitar, Travis Allred on vocals, and Dan Molgaard on bass guitar: Collin’s drumming is a controlled rage, providing a constant pulse and booming foundation; Josh, band manager and guitarist, guides the melody of every tune with soaring leads, layered riffs, and plenty of shredding reminiscent of guitar gods of the 1980s; Travis’ unique voice offers soulful and precise rock highs and engaging lows, with the occasional, and very appropriate, Hagar-esque wail; bringing up the low-end, the throaty tone from Dan’s bass glues the vocal melodies and energetic guitar to the persistent and lively rhythm. The Ghost Peppers are a hotrod with a Rock & Roll paintjob and nothing but groove under the hood.
The Ghost Peppers have won two Battles of the Bands, playing both the Ernie Ball Warped Tour and the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival. They are no strangers to the stage, having played with notable groups like Breaking Benjamin, Halestorm, and Theory of a Deadman, and it’s clear that they have mastered the sound of modern classic rock.
The band has played countless times all over the Northwest and proudly call Missoula, Montana home. Now, after nearly a year of writing and recording, the band is readying their fourth album, “Circles”, and is excited to share the new tunes with music fans all around.
