Logjam Presents is proud to announce The Mad Hat – Montana’s newest electronic music series.
Once a month, The Mad Hat will turn The Top Hat into Missoula’s premier nightclub, combining top notch production and FX, the finest local and regional DJs and producers, live dancers, and more to create a nightlife experience unlike any other in Montana.
Admittance will be $5 at the door (advance tickets not available). An additional $5 surcharge applies to those who are under the age of 21.
Hailing from Seattle, Washington from an early age WARDO, as his friends call him, has been playing music in multiple different forms. A classically trained drummer for many years and well versed in guitar, bass, piano, trumpet, he has many skill sets that he brings to his genre blending styles of electronic bass music.
Drawing from influences such as Bassnectar, Flume, Mr. Carmack, Sango, Tupac, Slipknot, System Of A Down, and Nirvana; the list goes on and the musical taste goes deeper and deeper. He channels his appreciation for music into floor stomping, uplifting and grimy dance beats while taking the audience on a sonic auditory experience.
Coming up from the underground with remixes for Keys N Krates, Krane, Tea Kittagucci, and The AM to name a few, this 24 year old producer aims to put his mark on the world.
LABUDA, formerly known as Tempo Tantrum, is a lifelong enthusiast of all styles and genres of music. In 2013 his passion brought him to Montana’s music capital, Missoula, where he immersed himself in the local electronic music scene.
He combines tasteful, diverse track selection with upbeat stage presence to create a high energy performance that is sure to keep bodies groovin’ on the dance floor.
He plans on releasing new music in 2018 on his Soundcloud page, soundcloud.com/tempotantrummusic.
Soon after getting introduced to the 90’s LA rave scene, Mike Stolin started djing parties and producing his own tracks. His style ranges from a warehouse style mix of house/ techno/ breaks, to deep jazzy r&b funk. Mike’s mixes are technical and smooth.
After moving to Montana in 2008 Mike quickly adapted to the music scene, playing at numerous festivals and parties across the region. He co-created Missoula’s first underground house weekly, “I’ll House You”, and for the last few years has been rocking select parties and festival with his wife as a B2B duo “StolinBeats”.
