SUPPORT ANNOUNCED: Local Hip Hop Artist Talus Orion to Open for Prof

Missoula based experimental R&B/hip-hop artist Talus Orion has been confirmed as support for Prof at Top Hat on May 15th. Talus last showcased his skills at the Top Hat when he opened up for Knowmads in September of 2017.

About Talus

His purpose is to change the world with love and positivity, and it’s present in his enlightening lyrics. Accompanied by the vibey, future bounce production of Golden Buddha (Luke Harmon) and complex rhythms of their drummer, Chris Naro, the band has a vibe unlike anything you’ve ever heard or felt.

Talus Orion Martin, was born in Troy, MT. Inspired by the underground rap movement at the time, Talus strived to become a lyrical MC. In High school, he met his producer and best friend, Luke Harmon, who was born in the neighboring town, Libby, MT. Their friendship ignited a creative interest in music and after high school, they moved to Missoula to pursue their passion.

This is when they began recording and created Talus’s first mixtape, “Talus in Wonderland.” While studying music at the university of Montana, Luke met Chris Naro, who was studying jazz. After a year in Missoula, Talus and Luke then moved to Seattle, WA for three years, where Luke studied Audio Production at The Art Institute. After cultivating a unique, original sound, they moved back home to Montana, where they joined back up with Chris and created IAMEYE.
