JUST ANNOUNCED: Free Screening of Lynyrd Skynyrd Film on Father’s Day
Fresh off it’s SXSW premiere, If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd will be shown for FREE as a part of the Big Sky Film Series at the Top Hat on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17th.
The film features rare interviews and never-before-seen footage of the legendary and influential rock band. Rising from the swamps of the Deep South, Lynrd Skynrd came to define an era with their hard hitting southern rock, their drunken and dangerous antics, and their controversial use of the rebel flag.The doc also serves as a portrait of band leader Ronnie Van Zant; Simple Man, Country Boy, Whiskey Rock-a-Roller, a poet and prophet for the common man whose life was cut tragically short, but whose legacy endures to this day.

The film was directed by Stephen Kijak a critically acclaimed film maker who’s collaborated with and documented musical icons and legends such as David Bowie, Scott Walker, The Rolling Stones, The Backstreet Boys, Jaco Pastorius, and X Japan.
