Andrew McMahon was the lead vocalist, pianist, and lyricist for the Orange County bands, Something Corporate, and Jack’s Mannequin, before going solo in 2013 under the moniker Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.

That year, he released the EP Pop Underground, which was followed by his self titled debut album in 2014. His most recent album Zombies On Broadway came out in 2017. In 2018, Andrew dropped two singles “Ohio” and “Teenage Rockstars” — both coming off his forthcoming LP Upside Down Flowers, which is due out November 16th, 2018.

In June of 2005, McMahon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. A few months later, he received a stem cell transplant from his sister Katie McMahon, which eventually led to a full recovery. In 2006, he founded The Dear Jack Foundation, a non-profit charity dedicated to raising funds for cancer research. It’s raised well over $500,000 since then — much of it going  to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
