Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness Unveils “Upside Down Flowers”
Continuing his progression as Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, the California indie rocker has just released the new album Upside Down Flowers on Friday, November 16, 2018. With the album’s release, McMahon also dropped a new video for “Paper Rain,” the fifth track off of Upside Down Flowers. (watch above)
McMahon has been busy the past five years, delivering his eponymously released LP in 2014, and his second solo piece, Zombies on Broadway in 2017.
Just over 40 minutes, the new 11 song project is Andrew McMahon’s third proper studio album. It’s the first to come out on the Fantasy Records label.
In an album review, Pablo Gorondi of AP says the fresh material is “saturated with nostalgia” and ” has a wide switchboard of emotions and McMahon the skill to expedite the connections.”
Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness hits the road this winter and will bring his Upside Down Flowers Tour to The Wilma on March 14, 2019. Tickets and more info here.
