Thursday, January 23rd
Francisco Marques at the Top Hat
Francisco is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and music educator. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and raised in the east coast of the United States before moving to Colorado in 2000 where he began establishing his career as a musician. He is the front man and co-founder of Ginga, the founder and director of GrupoChegando Lá, and plays with a multitude of Brazilian bands based out of Boulder including, Pagode na Pedra and Sambadende.
When he is not traveling out of state teaching samba workshops and performing, he is actively engaged in the teaching and dissemination of Brazilian music in Colorado; teaching as adjunct faculty at Naropa University and hosting weekly group and private lessons. He has also been a faculty member for 6 years at the mecca of Brazilian music education and immersion in the US; California Brazil Camp.

Friday, January 24th
The Fertile Crescent at the Top Hat
To fill a void in Missoula, Montana’s music scene, The Fertile Crescent emerged with a mission to play music that entertains, enthuses, and enthralls people of all backgrounds. The tight-pocket rhythm section of drums, bass, guitar, and keyboard (Zach Meyer, Kyle Curtis, Cameron Kinney, Connor Racicot) provides a foundation that then takes flight with the help of the 3-piece horn section (Andrew Kagerer trumpet, Ross Strauser tenor saxophone, James Standish trombone).
The Fertile Crescent will be supported by fellow Missoula bands Writ Large and The Cleaning Crew.

Zoso at the Rialto & the Wilma
Zoso – The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience formed in 1995 to perform the most accurate and captivating Led Zeppelin live show since the real thing. Based out of Missoula, MT, JD & The Western Front bring non stop groove and energy to country dance halls across Montana and the surrounding region.

Wednesday, January 29th
Kimberlee Carlson Jazz at the Top Hat
Kimberlee is honored to be part of Missoula’s jazz festival Jazzoula and has been featured yearly 2012-2019. She is a founder and member of Missoula’s Texas swing band Western Union, a member of the country swing duo Louie Bond & the Texas Playgirl and is co-producer of Missoula’s Stubborn Belly Fat Records.
In her jazz group, she is thrilled to be collaborating with some of Montana’s finest jazz musicians all recipients of the Missoula Jazz and Blues Society Hall of Fame Awards-Ron Meissner on guitar and Montana bass legend Pete Hand.
