#SaveOurStages: Calling All Independent Venue Supporters to Make Your Voice Heard
A message from the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA):
Independent music venues around the country, including each of the Logjam Presents venues, have experienced a complete shutdown for nearly two months due the COVID-19 pandemic. We were some of the first businesses to close and it looks like we will be some of the last to open. For many venues, the lost revenue will result in permanent closures, which will affect employees, artists, patrons and communities that have benefited from the social and economic activity generated by these venues.
To avoid the possibility of permanent closure, Logjam Presents has joined the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), a group of more than 1,200 independent music venues and promoters in all 50 states, to collectively urge Congress to help protect our industry by providing the financial support that is necessary for us to survive the shutdown and reopen once again.
We at Logjam have made it our goal to produce the best live entertainment experiences in Montana, and the only way we’ve been able to do that is because of your support. Now, we’re asking you to continue helping us by telling our our Senators and Representatives to support not just Logjam Presents, but the rest of our country’s indie promoters and venues.
Please join us and support our cause by calling and writing our Senators and Representatives today. In less than sixty seconds, you can make a difference by emailing our representatives right now. Just click the “Take Action” button below and fill out the form on the NIVA website. We sincerely thank you for your support and appreciate you sharing this message with your fellow indie venue supporters.
