Top Hat Launches Globally Inspired Summer Menu
From the beaches of Mexico, Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean, to the Cajun Bayou and small town America — the Top Hat’s new summer menu draws flavors from places far and near. Now’s your chance to taste them all!
A pet project of Sous Chef, Rosie, the Shrimp Aguachile appetizer is a beautifully plated layering of shrimp, cold roasted herb jalapeno broth, avocado, cucumber, red onion and tortilla chips. She enjoys it because it’s “simple, bright and has a slow burn to it.”
Looking for options to fit your diet? Try the vegan & gluten free Sweet Potato Steak, Fresh Strawberry Salad, or Red Pineapple Curry. Senior Sous Chef, Thomas, worked with Head Chef, Craig, to rebalance the flavors and garnishes of past curry iterations to put a fun twist on a classic Thai offering. You also have a choice of chicken or shrimp with your curry.
If you like Mediterranean cuisine, you’ll want to give the Harissa Lamb Burger a try! If you’re craving tasty comfort food with a unique Top Hat spin, try the Rotating Chef’s Specialty Fry.
The rotating fry is a fun special that challenges staff to be creative and allows everyone in the kitchen to have input and share ideas to create a mouthwatering end product like the Wisconsin White Cheese Sauce Smothered Fry w/ Lolo Locker Bacon.
Other menu additions include the Chicken Piccata, Jerk Steak Tacos, Pupusa, Cajun Shrimp Tacos, Pickled Avocado Chicken Sandwich, and the Strawberry Shortcake.
We could go on and on about the summer menu, but let’s be honest, reading about it only does so much. You have to try it for yourself!
Stop by soon to see why the Top Hat has consistently been voted by Missoulians as having some of the best food in Missoula. The Top Hat kitchen is open 11:00am-10:00pm, Monday-Saturday.
