groove now available in bozeman

Independent rap mogul Tech N9ne will return to The ELM in Bozeman on September 20, 2022 with support from label mate King Iso.

Born and raised in Kansas City, Tech N9ne is the cofounder of independent hip hop label, Strange Music. Leading by example, Tech is one of the hardest working rappers in the music industry. He consistently tours and constantly puts out new music. Known for his signature rapid-fire “chopper” style rapping, Tech has earned three gold records and sold over two million albums. 2021 saw him release his latest full-length album, Asin9ne. It included the hit single “Face Off” ft. Joey Cool, King Iso, and the one and only Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Earlier this year, Tech released the single “R.K. Huskers.”

Tech N9ne has also appeared in several films and TV shows including Gang Related, Alpha Dog, Dark Angel, I’m From Rolling Stone, The Hills, and many others.

Fans in Montana always look forward to Tech shows. With regular stops around the state year after year, he’s made it clear that he loves the Big Sky Country. Check out a couple of these old photo galleries to see a bit of the fun Montanans have had with Tech N9ne.

About Tech N9ne

The independent underground would not be what it is today without pioneers like Strange Music cofounder Tech N9ne. Techʼs unparalleled tour schedule and signature rapid-fire “chopper” style combined with the business acumen of Strange Music CEO Travis OʼGuin have molded Strange Music into the number one independent hip-hop label in the world. In less than two decades, Tech himself has earned three gold records, sold over two million albums, and made multiple appearances on Forbesʼs “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list. Techʼs multi-faceted skillset has not gone unrecognized by artists of all genres, exemplified by collaborations with such diverse artists as The Doors, Slipknotʼs Corey Taylor, Eminem, and Boyz II Men, to name just a few. Everyone from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to Elton John has been spotted bumping Tech N9ne records, a testament to constant reinvention and inarguable excellence that has become standard of Techʼs work. Itʼs by no coincidence that his latest label-wide collaborative project was named Dominion – Tech N9ne will not stop until he and Strange Music have completely dominated the world of hip-hop and beyond.
