Arizona-based jam quartet Spafford will return to Montana for two shows this weekend! First will be in Bozeman at The ELM on Saturday, October 15th, and second will be in Missoula at The Top Hat on Sunday, October 16th!

Spafford has become one of the jam scene’s most-buzzed-about live bands thanks to their brilliant improvisation, genre-exploring sound, and high-energy performances. Band members include  Brian Moss (guitar/vocals), Jordan Fairless (bass/vocals), Andrew “Red” Johnson (keys/vocals), and Cameron Laforest (drums/percussion/vocals).

In 2018, they released their second proper studio album, For Amusement Only. Relix reviewed the album saying Spafford “blend their instruments together seamlessly” and that the “sound on this release is watertight without feeling overworked. Since then, they’ve released the EP The Gaff Tapes (2019), the 47-minute Chapel Jam (2019), and three live albums including Live at the Drive-In (2020), Live, Vol. 3 (2020), and Hindsight (A Live Compilation) (2022).
