Arizona-based jam quartet Spafford will return to Montana for two shows in just a couple of weeks. They’re grooving at The ELM in Bozeman on Saturday, October 15th and The Top Hat in Missoula on Sunday, October 16th. This will be the first live show back at the Top Hat in over two years and we know Spafford is going to bring a special party! Both shows will feature support from progressive bluegrass band Sicard Hollow. Spafford has become one of the jam scene’s most-buzzed-about live bands thanks to their brilliant improvisation, genre-exploring sound, and high-energy performances.
In 2018, they released their second proper studio album, For Amusement Only. Relix reviewed the album saying Spafford “blend their instruments together seamlessly” and that the “sound on this release is watertight without feeling overworked.”
