The Motet Will Return to Bozeman and Missoula in 2023

Denver-based, funk outfit The Motet will make their way to Montana with support from Recess for two shows in early 2023 — the first at The ELM in Bozeman on Friday, February 24th, and the second at the Top Hat in Missoula on Saturday, February 25th.

Since emerging in 1998, The Motet have cooked up 10 full-length studio albums and entranced countless crowds. They’ve played at festivals like Bonnaroo, Electric Forest Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, North Coast Music Festival, Wakarusa and Summer Camp Festival. Playing about 100 shows a year, they’re known for their road-tested, high-energy live performances.

Their latest studio album release, All Day, came out in 2023. Glide Magazine said it is “one of the most complete and strongest offerings of their career.”
