Theo Katzman Announces Concerts in Bozeman & Missoula with Benjamin Jaffe

Multi-instrumentalist and cofounder of Vulfpeck, Theo Katzman, will make his way to Montana for two shows in 2023. He’ll perform at The ELM in Bozeman on Friday, March 31st and The Wilma in Missoula on Saturday, April 1st. Both concerts will include an opening set from Benjamin Jaffe (of honeyhoney).

Theo Katzman is a founding member of the popular funk band Vulfpeck, which was formed in 2011. That same year, he released his debut solo album Romance Without Finance, which was followed by Heartbreak Hits in 2017.

His third album, Modern Johnny Sings: Songs in the Age of Vibe, came out in 2020. Analog Planet praised the album and said that “Katzman presents, through his newly-established alter-ego “Modern Johnny”, twelve exceptional pieces.” He released a live version of the album in November of 2022.

In addition to vocals, Theo Katzman plays several instruments including guitar, drums, bass guitar, and piano. His musical styles include elements of pop, jazz, funk, folk, and rock.
