Missoula’s Off In The Woods Announce Free First Friday Show at the Top Hat

Come one come all — Missoula’s own Off In The Woods is bringing their soulful funky reggae-tinged jams back to The Top Hat on February 3, 2023 for a celebratory FREE First Friday show!

We couldn’t be happier to have these longtime Zootown favorites back at the Hat for a free shindig like this. Again and again over the past decade, Off In The Woods has delivered the best of times to Missoula and their skills have only sharpened. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting many shows with Off in the Woods, including a fantastic Album Release Party for Greenhouse in 2018.

If you want to boogie down with one of the coolest bands to come out of Missoula —  February 3rd with Off in the Woods is a must. The show isn’t going to start until about 10 pm so you can hit Downtown Missoula beforehand to enjoy all the other great First Friday festivities.

So invite the whole gang and plan for a party! However, please note: this is a 21+ event, so don’t invite folks who are underage. That would just be a tease.

Mark your calendars and we’ll see you all on the dance floor soon!

About Off in the Woods

Off in the Woods is a 7 piece Montana band. We play all original music along the stylings of Soul, Funk, Reggae and open tuned acoustic songs. We have a full horn section, drums, bass, guitar, hammond organ and aux-percussion/synth. The five original members all grew up in Polson, MT on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Reservation.

We have been playing together since the 6th grade but have been touring as Off in the Woods for 13+ years. We play up and down the State of Montana with a few shows in Idaho and Washington. In our time together we have worked our way up from free gigs at dive bars to playing historic theaters and festivals. We have played with many National and International touring bands such as George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Clinton Fearon and the Boogie Brown Band, Don Carlos and the Congos, Rusted Root, The English Beats, John Browns body, The Polyrythmics and Pato Banton.
