Boris will perform their fan favorite album Heavy Rocks (2002) in it’s entirety and Melvins will perform the whole Bullhead album along with other songs.
Formed in Tokyo in 1992, Boris is actually named after the song off Melvins Bullhead album which was released in 1991. Released in 2002, Heavy Rocks is the fourth studio album by Boris. It’s the first of three Boris albums titled “Heavy Rocks,” with the others released in 2011 and most recently in 2022.
Known for their influential sound and pioneering spirit, Melvins will transport listeners to the depths of heavy music with their thunderous rhythms, distorted guitars, and powerful vocals courtesy of frontman Buzz Osborne. Rolling Stone ranked Bullhead #60 on their list of the all time greatest metal albums.
