The band boasts a truly unique musical style that falls somewhere between Americana and electronica. They achieve this distinctive sound by blending traditional instruments, global percussion, soundscapes, and electronic beats, resulting in what they term “swamptronica.” Get a feel for their signature sound and check out the tracks “Sailing the Solar Flares,” “No More,” and “GoGo.” Their latest album, Embers, came out in 2022.

Since emerging in 1998, The Motet have cooked up 10 full-length studio albums and entranced countless crowds.
They’ve played at festivals like Bonnaroo, Electric Forest Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, North Coast Music Festival, Wakarusa and Summer Camp Festival.
Their latest studio album release, All Day, came out in 2023. No Treble said it’s “a masterclass in hard-driving funk, groovy soul, and dance beats” and Relix called it “some seriously fun funk.” Preview the album and listen to “False Prophets” “Can’t Fool Me” and “Back Seat.”
