Whitney Announces Concert at The ELM

Indie folk band Whitney will bring their summer tour to The ELM in Bozeman on July 23, 2025.

Formed by former members of Smith Westerns and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Whitney quickly made a name for themselves with the release of their 2016 debut Light Upon the Lake. Blending breezy folk-rock melodies and soulful lyrics, the band — led by Julien Ehrlich (vocals/drums) and Max Kakacek (guitar) — has carved out a distinct sound that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

Their follow-up albums, including Forever Turned Around and Spark, further cemented their reputation as masterful songwriters, known for creating emotionally rich music that explores love, change, and the passage of time. Fan favorites like “No Woman,” “Valleys (My Love),” and “Giving Up” have become staples in their setlists, delivering crowd-pleasing singalongs and heartfelt moments.

Whitney’s unmistakable sound will be a treat to hear inside The ELM so grab your tickets ASAP!
