Opiuo Announces Return to Montana in 2026
Glitch hop producer Opiuo is bringing his electrifying Ascension Seeker Tour to Montana in 2026! Catch him at The ELM in Bozeman on Thursday, February 26th, and The Wilma in Missoula on Friday, February 27th, with support from Cool Customer and rSUN.
Born in rural New Zealand, Oscar Davey-Wraight—aka Opiuo—grew up surrounded by music festivals hosted on his family’s land, sparking a lifelong passion for rhythm, movement, and sound. Now based in Australia, he’s become a world-renowned producer and pioneer of the glitch-hop genre, blending funk, soul, psychedelia, and bass into a sound that’s uniquely his own. Get a taste of his sound with tracks like “Jelly,” “On Your Side,” and “Robo Booty.”
Opiuo has performed at top festivals like Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and Splendour In The Grass, and even sold out Red Rocks multiple times. His 2014 album Meraki won the New Zealand Music Award for Best Electronic Album, and he continues to evolve with every release — including his latest record, ASCENSION SEEKER. (2025).

A genre-bending plethora of auditory and visual masterclasses upon which Oscar Davey-Wraight has built his highly respected, forward-thinking career. Born in 1984 in rural New Zealand, his parents provided the land upon which music festivals were held, unveiling the magic of live music to Opiuo at a young age.
