Liz Phair & Sleater-Kinney to Coheadline KettleHouse Amphitheater in 2026
Indie rock icons Liz Phair and Sleater-Kinney are bringing The Flannel and The Fury Tour to KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
A Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and one of indie rock’s most influential voices, Liz Phair broke through with her landmark debut Exile in Guyville—a bold, era-defining release that reshaped the landscape of ’90s alternative music. With over five million records sold and decades of critically acclaimed work, her sharp, candid songwriting continues to resonate across generations.
Sleater-Kinney brings their electrifying, guitar-driven sound and nearly three decades of boundary-pushing rock. Emerging from the Pacific Northwest in the mid-’90s, the band quickly became a defining force of the era, with albums like Dig Me Out earning lasting acclaim. After a triumphant return from hiatus and a run of celebrated recent releases, they remain as vital and dynamic as ever.
Fans can expect a set packed with favorites like “Why Can’t I?,” “Supernova,” “Modern Girl” and “One More Hour” alongside deeper cuts and newer material that showcase both artists’ lasting impact and continued evolution.

ABOUT LIZ PHAIR
Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter. Guitar playing virtuoso. Feminist trailblazer. Globally published author. Gamechanger. Composer. Disrupter. Visual Artist. Icon. These are some of the many words that could be used to describe Liz Phair. Phair has been a recording artist and touring performer for twenty-five years; she has sold over five million records worldwide, with three U.S. gold albums and two Grammy nominations. She’s appeared on television shows across the globe. Her deeply clever and often brutally candid songs have been garnering critical praise since she began her career in the early 1990s in Chicago by self-releasing audio cassettes under the name Girly-Sound. She signed a deal with acclaimed independent record label Matador Records, and in 1993, Liz Phair put out an album called Exile In Guyville; to say it changed everything would be an understatement. Exile In Guyville–a collection of bold, lyrically and sexually frank songs paired with equally as inventive and remarkable guitar playing by Phair –has been ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, by Pitchfork as one of the 100 Greatest albums of the 90’s, and is considered one of the most accomplished debut albums for any artist in any genre to date.
ABOUT SLEATER-KINNEY
Sleater-Kinney first emerged from Olympia, WA in 1994. The group’s 1997 landmark album, Dig Me Out, earned a spot on Rolling Stone’s “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” During 2015, they returned from a decade-long hiatus with the triumphant No Cities To Love, which closed out 2015 on dozens of year-end lists, reaching #1 for The Daily Beast and The Skinny. In 2019, they teamed up with St. Vincent to produce The Center Won’t Hold followed by a North American and European tour with multiple sold-out dates. Path of Wellness, their tenth studio and first self-produced album was released before embarking on a summer co-headlining tour with Wilco that included iconic venues such as Red Rocks, Merriweather Post Pavilion, and more. To commemorate 25 years of their iconic record, Dig Me Out, the band gathered artists across genres to reimagine the 13 original tracks. Artists include Courtney Barnett, St. Vincent, Wilco, The Linda Lindas, NNAMDÏ, Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires, and more. Sleater-Kinney returns on January 19, 2024 with Little Rope, (produced by John Congleton) one of the finest, most delicately layered records in the band’s nearly 30-year career.
