Pinky and the Floyd to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of “Animals” in Missoula & Bozeman
Montana’s beloved Pink Floyd tribute Pinky and the Floyd will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1977 album Animals in 2027. The band will take the stage at The Wilma in Missoula on Friday, March 5, and The ELM in Bozeman on Saturday, March 6.
They’ll perform Animals in its entirety, along with other classic Pink Floyd selections from the era. Known for its darker themes and biting social commentary, Animals remains one of Pink Floyd’s most powerful and enduring albums. We can’t wait to hear the 17 minute “Dogs” up close!

ABOUT PINKY AND THE FLOYD
Pinky and the Floyd is proud to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic 1977 album, “Animals.” The band will perform the album in its entirety as well as other classic selections from that era, March 5, 2026 at the Wilma in Missoula and March 6, 2026 at the Elm in Bozeman. “Animals” explores the apparent social and moral decay of society by comparing the human condition to the animal kingdom; a theme that continues to resonate today. The lyrics poignantly divide society into three distinct classes: predatory dogs, despotic pigs, and the mindless & unquestioning herd of sheep. The band is excited to dive deeper into the album themes with a production that promises to be equal parts intense, ominous, and dynamic. The two shows, brought to you by LogJam Presents, will be your first chance to see Pinky and the Floyd’s 2027 tour production of “Animals,” a live experience not to be missed.
