Spunj is a high-energy fusion four piece that tailors each live show to be a truly unique experience, not just a musical performance. Incorporating goofy antics and a high level of audience participation, Spunj continues to cultivate a dedicated fan base that will travel long distances to see the band perform multiple nights in a row, collecting stamps on their ‘Spunj show punch cards’ (available for free at the merch booth!) and chasing songs they didn’t get to hear at the last performance.

In just five short years, Spunj has shown exponential growth and tenacity from playing shows all along the West Coast to beginning a National circuit with their Spring 2024 tour. The Band continues to expand their reach in hopes to grow their audience more and more each year and conquer more geographical territory as quickly as possible.

In just the last year alone, Spunj has played over 100 shows in 29 cities across 14 states. – Since October 2021 the badn has been featured on the No Simple Road podcast, twice, have been joined on stage by Ryan Dempsey formerly of Twiddle, Luke Bemand of lespecial, Pat Harvey of Cycles and also shared the stage with acts such as Spafford and Eggy.

The group just recently made their east coast debut with a 10-date tour encompassing New England, New York and Pennsylvania. The highlight most likely being a near sold out show in New York City for the band’s first time in town. The group played a scorching set of originals and covers, sure to please the eager crowd of City dwelling Spunj fans and their unsuspecting guests.

As for recorded music, each member gets to display their own influence and eclectic musical skill set as Spunj tackles a wide variety of genres in a digestible “snack-size” package in their latest third installment of their EP. Recorded in Seattle, WA at Mandarax Records, this lends yet another collection of Spunj songs that have been in live rotation for varying amounts of time, to a more in-depth lens.
