About Black Tiger Sex Machine

Black Tiger Sex Machine are a trio of electronic music producers from Montreal, Canada. Known for their heavy electro and bass sound, they perform a unique show in which they combine tracks, loops, drums, samples and synths into an intense barrage of sounds and beats, all while wearing their iconic Tiger Helmets.

They first caught industry attention in 2012 with a series of blistering electro releases accompanied by live demos and video clips showcasing their innovative and energetic performances. After several overseas tours to Europe and South Africa in 2013 and 2014, they made their highly-anticipated US debut in January 2015. Constant touring throughout the year across North America saw them raise their profile considerably as they made high-profile appearances at festivals like Electric Forest, TomorrowWorld, Electric Zoo, Lollapalooza and Escape from Wonderland. Their dedication and groundwork has attracted an ever-growing fanbase dubbed the BTSM Church.

Black Tiger Sex Machine are also the brains behind Kannibalen Records, which has quickly become one of the top independent labels in the game. Through Kannibalen, they’ve shaped the careers of breakthrough artists like Snails, Apashe, Kai Wachi & Dabin. In 2016, BTSM are primed to further consolidate their status as the standard- bearers of the new electro sound. They’ll kick off the year with their debut full- length album before going on a 3-month tour across North America accompanied by fellow Kannibalen Records artists Apashe and Dabin. With the BTSM Church attracting new faithful every day, the group shows no signs of slowing down as they strive to push musical boundaries in dance music.

Kai Wachi

Since his first release in June 2012, Kai Wachi has been on an upward trajectory, thrilling electronic music listeners with his hypnotic sonic textures and ear-shattering basses. Never one to stay in one lane for too long, or to stick to one sound, the 22-year-old has mashedgenres and crossed boundaries, and in the process gained thousands of fans among the dubstep, electro and trap lovers.

Hailing from Boise Idaho, Kai is a core member of the Kannibalen Records family alongside the likes of Black Tiger Sex Machine, Apashe, and Snails. Right when he started, Kai showcased his prodigious talent, with a slew of EPs and remixes that made him gain support from the likes of Borgore, UZ, Dirtyphonics, Bro Safari, Ookay and more.

Kai’s progression has been nothing short of stellar, moving from a totally unknown act to one of the industry’s most promising producers. His 2016 year was a hallmark one, with his single Ri$e, the $kull Team EP and the follow-up DEMONS all becoming audience favorites that were supported by the likes of Excision and Bassnectar.

To kick off 2017, he supported BTSM on their Music Is Our Religion Tour, a 27-date trek across the United States. In spring 2017, the native of Boise joined the Circle Talent Agency. The future is bright for this young producer with such a unique talent; be sure to catch Kai Wachi at a festival near you.

Lektrique

Lektrique is a 26-year-old music producer who honed his craft in Montreal with the Kannibalen Records crew for 5 years before moving back to his native Brussels. Lektrique has gained a reputation as an excellent producer, a tastemaker with an ear for groundbreaking original sounds and a high energy & technical DJ.

As the host of the Kannibalen Radio Podcast, a bi-weekly mix series with a loyal following, Lektrique regularly premiers unreleased tracks by both prominent and undiscovered electronic music artists with each episode gathering over 15,000 streams and 5,000 downloads. Lektrique has thus gained a well-earned reputation not only as an excellent producer, but also as a go-to source for the highest quality records from both the underground and mainstream.

In 2016, Lektrique teamed up with Black Tiger Sex Machine on “Armada,” a lead single and fan favorite off the trio’s debut album, Welcome To Our Church. This comes after the highly successful collaboration between these acts, “Religion,” which received support from the likes of Excision and K?d. With strong electro singles like this, as well as “Alpha Dogs,” “OMEGA”, “Shots Fired” and more, Lektrique’s been supported by artists such as Afrojack, Snails, Don Diablo, Dyro, 3LAU and many more.

After touring Europe in 2016, Lektrique is looking to bring his electrifying DJ set worldwide. With it will come numerous singles and EPs, including collaborations with BTSM and the Russian star Proxy. Bass house is coming to the forefront at the same time electro is making a comeback and Lektrique has placed himself as a pillar in both movements. 2017 will see the talented musician deepen his place among the producer pools and DJ circuits across both sides of the Atlantic.
