About Dead Sky

This 6 piece Bozeman band is comprised of 3 vocalists, 2 guitarists, bass, drums and keys who have been playing Grateful Dead tunes together since their 1st show at The Filling Station November 1st, of 2019. The group is made up of musicians who have played together in a variety of local acts for many years; including Pinky and the Floyd, M.O.T.H., Kelly Nicholson Band, Tsunami Funk and the Hooligans. They have overcame many tribulations since they began, including the loss of their founding member Joe Knapp, and have organically grown into one of Bozeman’s most cherished tribute bands.

About Dad Habit

Dad Habit is the continuation of Bozeman-based musical institutions, Cure for the Common, and The Dusty Pockets. Its sound is built on a foundation of funk and progressive rock, with forays into jazz, blues, and Americana. It’s spirit is rooted in crafting compelling original music, but branches into the catalogs of their favorite artists of the past and present. The band is focused on building a tight and groovy sound made for dancing, and continuing to push the boundaries of musical possibility and enjoyment. Founded by “Dad,” Garrett Rhinard, the keyboardist for both CFTC and DP, the band is staffed by John Griffith on bass (The Dusty Pockets), Joe Sheehan on drums (CFTC, DP) and Sean Lehmann on guitar (The Tiny Band, formerly of Pinky and the Floyd). This group of musicians have collectively spent thousands of hours performing for audiences around the region and the country, and special musical guests are a likely surprise to behold at their live shows. Don’t miss Dad Habit at a venue near you.
