About Puddle
Legends of old tell of a long lost trail of rock and gravel. Down said trail lies a mountain steeped in mystery, where its peak is said to rise so high you can nearly grab the stars. Beyond the mountain lies a spring, a fresh water source of eternal life that has bubbled for eons and quenched only the lucky. Further past this spring is a desert, one whose sands have blown since the Earth was formed, and have circulated the globe a thousand times over. Along the edge of the desert lies a sea. A sea where ships have sailed for months on end in search of islands of gold and boundless treasures; where ravenous monsters roam the never ending depths. But for those who can make it across the sea, there is a gentle shore. And on this shore, begins a trail of rock and gravel.
Two feet to the left of this rocky, gravely, most rockiest of trails, there is a small frog who plays a custom engraved 1972 Sunburst Fender Stratocaster, (pretty sweet, huh?). This frog, old and wise as any, has the age old wisdom of a thousand Hendix and Gilmour minds combined. (woah). But the frog realized his powers were doing no good two feet to the left of this mystical rocky, gravely trail. So he took his Strat, I’ll be it his tiny Strat, and headed to the land he’d heard so much about. A land of deep snow and green summers; the Gallatin Valley. Arriving in this foreign place, he was blown away by the magical beauty of the sights that fell upon his eyes. Valley’s of Paradise, skys bigger than he ever could have imagined, and Bowls that were oh so Bridger.
This musically ingenious frog vowed that he would never be able to match his music, no matter how amazing it was, to the wonders of this land. And so, oh brave as he was, the frog decided to split his spirit into 6 pieces, each with charisma and charm, some more handsome and attractive than others. Each piece was set to roam the Earth, until they would one day reunite, under this large, ever so large sky, and bring music to this pristine Valley. That was many moons ago, and the day has come. The pieces have united, and the music has been born. This is the story of Puddle, Bozeman’s 3rd most popular Nicolas Cage admiring, comedy loving musical sextet; and may your ears be ever the more thankful for it.
