Kalie Rider is a singer/songwriter from Western North Dakota. Struggling to cope with the onset of the Bakken oil boom and the uncertain fate of her hometown, Kalie found solace in music. Now, she tells her story through songs. Kalie and her community’s experience throughout the boom are featured in the documentary “My Country No More” premiering at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival on February 23rd at the Wilma.
