About MST

mst was created in February 2022 in Bozeman, MT.  Alyssa Mandich (vocals), Gabby Rizzo (guitar), Eliot DeFrancesco-Evans (drums), Trafford Turkiewicz (guitar), Aiden Doherty (piano), and Ian Coker (bass). The group takes an improv approach to writing; co-creating songs together through round-table-style idea sessions. Music seems to write itself when there’s trust in the people playing with you.

Their May 17 show at the Rialto serves as a release party for their debut album. A genre-fused mix with focus on space and intention, the album is a culmination of the band’s two years together and a celebration before the group parts ways.
