About PARTYGOERS

Known for their high energy live performances and swaggerous investigation of hip hop and electronic music, PARTYGOERS blends the live drumming of Aaron “Trickshot” Johnson with the live beat manipulation of Charlie Apple to create a unique flavor of danceable, thought provoking music.

About The Album

PARTYGOERS’ fourth effort, CABLE CREEK, stretches further into the subgenre tech-house than previous albums without losing the group’s distinctive sound.

Over the course of two summers, the members of PARTYGOERS collected field recordings in the Cable Creek Valley. The resulting recordings create the sonic landscape heard throughout the album.

CABLE CREEK is an environment. One set in a high elevation valley in western Montana; one merged with musical genres perhaps never before linked to the rural mountain west.

Nobide

Nobide is a live-electronic act out of Denver, Colorado. Setting traditional instruments amid an electronic backdrop, the Nobide sound has been described as “Organic Electronic.” Inspired by the diverse landscapes of Colorado, Nobide confidently explores different musical styles.

Rowdy enough for dance floors and deep enough for quiet exploration, the Nobide grooves are far-reaching. Nick Vann’s edgy production, Matt McElwain’s driving rhythms, Ted Kleistʼs tendency toward melody and Tanner Fruitʼs affinity for jazz and texture leads to a genre-bending and fresh sound.

Nobide points to “not biding time,” taking every opportunity to engage with life via sound, color and wonder.
