About The Timber Rattlers
The Timber Rattlers are an energetic acoustic band that pulls from their bluegrass roots, but also strive to push the boundaries of their music. Fast paced dance songs and instrumentals, old school resonator blues and originals, as well as some surprising covers are sure to keep listeners engaged.
MEMBERS
Jesse Brown – A violinist who has genre hopped many bands and instruments. He is most known for his years spent with “The Lil’ Smokies” both touring and writing music. He also plays fiddle with Montana legends “Mission Mountain Wood Band”.
Jamie Drysdale – A class act guitarist with on-point bluegrass runs. Naturally entertaining the crowd with his quick, witty humor. He is always writing unique and ear-catching originals. Most known for his touring/songwriting with the Jackson Hole band “The Random Canyon Growlers”
Dillon Johns – A recent graduate of the music program at The University of Montana. He now teaches elementary school music, passing on extensive knowledge of music to the next generation. He is most known for his groovy bass lines, and infectious stage presence in the band “The Letter B”.
Caleb Dostal – A prodigy in the field of contemporary banjo. Caleb has been playing since he was 12. He first heard the banjo on some old CD’s around the house and fell in love with the sound, and from then on has had an infectious drive to improve his ability and discover more of the possibilities that the banjo holds.
CURRENT
Currently the band is looking to 2019 as a year to focus hard on public performances in Missoula and surrounding areas. They just released Their debut single “No Ordinary War” which is streaming on all major platforms. The band is also spending time writing and rehearsing as they prepare for more booked studio time. A series of singles will be released in the coming spring/summer months, all in preparation for an album in later 2019.
