Missoula’s Lil Smokies Release Cover of Barr Brothers’ “Even the Darkness Has Arms”
Montana bluegrass giants The Lil Smokies just released their latest single, “Even the Darkness Has Arms.” The single is a cover of Montreal-based ‘sci folk/mysterious roots’ quintet, The Barr Brothers.
This is the fifth of The Lil Smokies SnowGhost Singles, which were all recorded in a single day session at the SnowGhost Music studio with engineer Brett Allen (The Avett Brothers, Kris Kristofferson) and assistant engineer Jerry Sandler.
The band is planning on releasing one more SnowGhost single in the coming months, so stay tuned.
