The Lil Smokies Will Return Home for New Year’s Eve with a Roaring 20’s Show

Montana’s beloved bluegrass band, The Lil Smokies, will once again return to Missoula for a New Year’s Eve show at the Wilma on December 31, 2019. Ringing in the next decade, the show will appropriately be themed “A Roaring 20’s New Year’s Eve.” So yes, that means you should certainly dress your best when you come to the show!

The Lil Smokies have helped Montanans ring in several New Years in the past, and it’s become somewhat of an annual party. You can see a bunch of old Smokies’ photos here.

The Lil Smokies have been putting out world class bluegrass/folk tunes since they started in 2009, and have since won the 2015 Telluride Bluegrass Band competition and took home the 2016 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award. They’ve also wowed fans at High Sierra, Telluride Bluegrass, DelFest & FloydFest, to name a few.

Most recently they released their Live at the Bluebird album and also dropped a series of singles dubbed, the SnowGhost Singles, which are covers of some of their favorite songs from artists like Elton John and Led Zeppelin.
