Shooter Jennings Will Bring His Outlaw Country Back to Montana for Two Concerts

Acclaimed outlaw country artist Shooter Jennings will swing through Montana for two concerts early 2020: the first at the Top Hat in Missoula on Jan 15th and the second at the Rialto in Bozeman on Jan. 16th. Austin-based country band Mike & The Moonpies will open for Shooter.

Check out the photos from Shooters last show in Missoula here.

The son of famed country musicians Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter, Shooter’s love for country music is essentially engrained in his DNA. The Nashville-born artist released his debut album Put the “O” Back in Country in 2005. He’s since released 7 more full length studio albums, including 2018’s Shooter.

He’s had music featured in the 2005  film adaption Dukes of Hazzard and the FX original series Sons of Anarchy. His 2013 release The Other Life inspired the film of the same name, which won the Best Short Film at the 2013 Horror Hound Festival. Shooter appears in the film as “The Gunslinger.” In addition, he’s been seen on screen in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line (playing his father) and also in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 25th at 10AM. Logjam presale tickets will be available on Oct. 24th. Complete details can be found in each of the event pages below.
