Coheed and Cambria Confirm Neverender Concert in Missoula with Deafheaven

Modern progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria will bring their Neverender NWFTWM Tour to The Wilma on September 27, 2023 with support from California-based blackgaze band Deafheaven.

This is a special “Neverender” performance, where the band plays a classic album in full. Coheed and Cambria will perform their 2007 fourth studio album, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume II: No World For Tomorrow, in its entirety. Additionally, fans can expect a majority of songs played from the band’s new album Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind. Hence the tour acronym NWFTWM or No World for the Waking Mind.

Sixteen years ago, Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow closed out the band’s expansive original sci-fi narrative, The Amory Wars. Upon release, it bowed at #6 on the Billboard Top 200 as the band’s second consecutive Top 10 debut on the respective chart.

In 2022, Coheed and Cambria released Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Waking Mind, their tenth studio album. Metal Injections said the album “is ultimately among Coheed & Cambria’s most welcoming, aspiring, and fulfilling studio creations.” The Guardian called it “some of their most concise and infectious songwriting.”

This is your chance to see both of the albums performed live in one special night so grab your tickets ASAP!

About Coheed and Combria

For the last 20 years, Coheed and Cambria have continuously broken the mold of what a rock band can be, forging their own path and building a universe around their music unlike any other. Whether it is in the way their genre-spanning approach to songwriting has allowed them to bridge worlds without being contained to one, or the multifaceted story arc of their albums and comic book series which mark the longest running concept story in music, Coheed and Cambria have consistently shaped new standards, never conformed.

Comprised of Claudio Sanchez (Vocals / Guitar), Travis Stever (Guitar), Josh Eppard (Drums) and Zach Cooper (Bass) the band has gripped listeners and press around the globe with their visionary compositions and conceptual mastery. In 2018, Coheed and Cambria made a stunning debut with their album Vaxis I: The Unheavenly Creatures, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s “Hard Rock Albums” chart, #6 current sales and Top 15 on the “Billboard 200” chart.
