An Evening with Goose Confirmed at KettleHouse Amphitheater

Indie groove band Goose will perform live along the banks of the Blackfoot at KettleHouse Amphitheater on Friday, September 22, 2023. This is “An Evening with” show which means it’ll be nonstop Goose from the first note to the last… no opener, and most likely multiple sets!

Since their debut album Moon Cabin was released in 2016, the Norwalk, CT quintet has become one of the most talked about bands in the jam music scene. Goose released their Night Lights EP in 2020 which was followed by Shenanigans Nite Club in 2021, Dripfield in June of 2022, and their latest EP Undecided in December of 2022. In addition, they’ve released several live albums over the past few years.

While the band’s recorded material stands on its own, Goose soars highest when they’re witnessed live. Since turning heads at their notable Peach Festival performance in 2019, they have become a must-see live act with their psychedelic and explosive yet approachable and catchy grooves.

Goose quickly sold out The ELM in early 2022 and are set to return for a sold-out two-night stand this April. We can’t wait to see everyone outdoors along the river for this one… and on a Friday to boot. HONK HONK!

About Goose

Goose — Rick Mitarotonda [vocals, guitar], Peter Anspach [vocals, keys, guitar], Trevor Weekz[bass], Ben Atkind [drums], and Jeff Arevalo [vocals, percussion, drums]  — fluidly traverse genres with head-spinning hooks, technical fireworks, and the kind of chemistry only possible among small town and longtime friends. Following 2016’s moon cabin, the Norwalk, CT quintet quietly took flight, playing countless shows during their ascent while slowly and steadily amassing a nationwide following.

The end of 2017 saw the band welcome Peter Anspach on guitar and keyboard – a pivotal moment that solidified the group’s core lineup. Months of relentless touring prepared them for a string of milestone festival performances during the summer of 2019, most notably defined by a storied performance at The Peach Music Festival in Scranton, PA. The band’s subsequent pro-shot video gained significant traction, highlighting the existing catalog of content compiled over the previous two years.

With increased buzz came increased demand. One by one, Goose sold out each show of their fall 2019 headlining tour and sold out last minute performances at both Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg in January 2020. Continue reading…
