Missoula Band Cosmic Sans Release “Dogman” Music Video Ahead of Album Release Show at Top Hat

Gearing up for the release of their forthcoming album PSYCHEDELICATESSEN, Missoula-based psych rock band, Cosmic Sans, have unveiled a new music video for their song “Dogman.”

Filmed on a mid-90s Sony Handicam Hi-8, the video was shot across Montana with the help of Justin Matousek of Rainbow Gorilla Visuals and Isaiah Hesford.

“With this video, our vision was to create a sordid, Lonesome Crowded West atmosphere that showcased a shared, wintery-Montana experience. We included some familiar Missoula scenes, as well as a number of more distant rural shots that encompassed different parts of the state all the way out towards Billings. With shots of bison running superimposed onto a train rolling by, we recollect a not-so-distant past that underlies a dark history in this desolate, beautiful land. This is our ode to long dark winters spent indoors, waiting for the sun to come out again, made using local scenes and local talent.” – Seamus Jennings, Guitar/Vocals

Cosmic Sans will be celebrating the release of PSYCHEDELICATESSEN with a FREE show at the Top Hat on Friday, May 19th. Don’t miss out on the party! Details here.
