The Dwellers have been a staple of the Montana bluegrass scene since their inception in 2010 — carving out their own space through their unique style dubbed “Galaxy Grass.” They’ve been headlining venues across the state for years and are now a nationally touring and headlining act. Check out a bunch of their old photo galleries here.
They’ve hit notable venues and festivals like The Brooklyn Bowl, The Fox Theatre, Delfest, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Northwest String Summit, and The Frendly Gathering. They’ve shared the stage with acts such as Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters and Twiddle.
In 2017, the band released their sophomore album Ghost in a Bottle, and 2018 saw them unveil the “Reheated, Vol. 1” EP consisting of four covers of The Band. October 2019 saw them release their latest album, Muir Maid.
