About Missoula Strikers 40th Anniversary Celebration

Join friends, family, and Strikers alum to celebrate Missoula Strikers 40th Anniversary and our honoree, founding coach, and champion for kids, Geoff Birnbaum. This “Missoula-fancy” soiree will feature good food and drink, music, and dancing.

Strikers is the longest-running and most storied competitive soccer club in Missoula. We are a grassroots, nonprofit, community-based youth program that fosters the growth of mindful, kind young adults through sport.

The Missoula Strikers 40th Anniversary Celebration sponsorships, ticket sales, and fundraising help us invest in excellent coaches and staff and expand scholarships to ensure we never turn away a family due to their inability to pay.

Event honoree Coach Geoff Birnbaum truly embodies Strikers’ philosophy of excellence and inclusion. Geoff championed thousands of kids at every turn of his career – as a founding Strikers and Hellgate soccer coach, as well as the former director of Missoula Youth Homes.

Missoula Strikers Soccer Association is a grassroots, community-based youth sports program. Gifts to Missoula Strikers are tax-deductible. Event sponsorship allows us to invest in excellent staff and coaches and helps expand our scholarship program to ensure all families are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.
