Opiuo is a genre-bending plethora of auditory and visual masterclasses. Born in 1984 in rural New Zealand, his parents provided the land upon which music festivals were held. This extremely formative growth surrounded by the early incarnations of Aotearoa’s electronic music scene exposed him to the celebration of life through self-expression, dance, and giant sound systems. These experiences shaped so much of who he is & what he stands for today. Positivity and movement at the core of the project, his music is an infectious electronic-based blend of funk, soul, psychedelia, and booty-shaking bass.
About Freddy Todd
An interstellar funk champion, Freddy Todd has no time to waste in this galaxy. Born & raised in Detroit, he found his way into the matrix at age 14, rapidly understanding the intricacies of glitch found within Windows XP. After being bestowed a keytar from his main homie (his dad) at 18, he has continued to shred not only the minds of his fans but the evil vibes throughout the world via bass music and good times. Now with over a decade of touring from Red Rocks to Burning Man, Coachella, Australia and beyond, and with over twenty studio album releases under his belt, Freddy Todd is a psychedelic hyper throw down dance party for the people, and something to be witnessed and enjoyed at a (comfortably) loud volume.
About potions
potions is the production alias of musician, DJ and producer Hunter Braymer. Combining a deep reverence for traditional songwriting modes with modern production techniques, potions’ music connects the dots between a variety of styles and genres often viewed as unrelated. This approach was on full display on his 2022 album New Earth Formula which emphasized a genre bending expertise and world building that is completely of his own. A founding member of Lab Group, an accomplished guitarist and a nuanced visual designer, potions has demonstrated his unique approach to creative direction, recording and performance time and time again.
