Born and raised in the mountains of Western Montana is a country artist named Tanner Laws. His love for authentic storytelling guided Tanner to be influenced by artists like Tyler Childers, Keith Whitley, and Turnpike Troubadours. His admiration for outdoorsmanship along with time spent performing at bars and rodeos has led him to be known for writing songs about fishing/hunting and honky-tonk songs you can drink & dance to. In 2024, the Missoula-based group Tanner Laws Band was formed and they hit the road running, winning “Missoula’s Best New Band” their first year playing together! Made-up of Jazz music majors from the University of Montana (Sam Purvis and Owen Cleary), a software engineer and a dual threat on electric guitar and pedal steel guitar (Eric Rudnick), a bluegrass fiddle player (Geoff Taylor) and a lead singer with a background in civil engineering (Tanner Laws). They have opened for artists like Clint Black, Rodney Atkins, Sam Barber and Corey Kent. Tanner is releasing his first Nashville recorded songs this year in 2025 starting with “Aim to Please” set to release on Tuesday, May 13.
