About Tell Us Something

Tell Us Something is excited to return to The Wilma stage!

Join us for an evening of live storytelling featuring storytellers from the Missoula community. 7 storytellers share their true personal stories without notes on the theme “Stone Soup”. Tell Us Something has been creating opportunities for sharing and listening to stories since 2011.

We are weary and hungry travelers in this world. Together we nourish one another with our stories. We bring what we have and share it together for a magical evening of personal stories. Join us for true tales, shared live. Stories give us sustenance. Join us and enjoy the bounty of everyday people with extraordinary stories.Parents are reminded that Tell Us Something sometimes has adult themes and stories may contain adult language.

This event will feature ASL interpreters to accommodate our Deaf friends.

Masks are strongly encouraged.

Tell Us Something is a 501(c)3 organization.

“What’s great about Tell Us Something is it pulls the whole room, everybody, into the mix. People have to listen…. Usually, a sentence or one aspect in a story will affect you, make you empathize, or it will remind you of a similar experience in your own life. So it just furthers the connections between people. It’s a no-brainer. The more we talk to each other, the broader our view will get, the more open we will become.”
–Mark Gibbons, Poet and Tell Us Something Storytelling Alumni

“YESSSSSS!!!! What an amazing experience! What a group of unbelievably unique and diverse storytellers! I was floored. I believe so strongly in the power of storytelling- it’s a way to tether ourselves to this earth and say, ‘Yes! I claim this life that I’ve lived!'”
–Karla Theilen, Tell Us Something storyteller alumni
